Report: West Ham have long-term interest in signing 'very talented' 22-year-old, Chelsea may sell this summer

West Ham will surely be pleased to hear the rumours about one player Chelsea could look to sell this summer.

There may be a bit of unknown going into the next transfer window while clubs tread carefully around FPP regulations, so what will Chelsea’s summer look like?

The Blues still have a pretty large squad on their books, especially when you factor in the individuals out on loan.

Apparently, Mauricio Pochettino’s side may sell one of their loanees in the upcoming window.

Chelsea may sell 22-year-old

Football.London claims that Armando Broja could end up leaving Chelsea on a permanent basis this summer.

The 22-year-old striker has been loaned out to rivals Fulham for the second half of this season, where he’s been very unfortunate with opportunities. He’s played just five times with zero starts.

It is understood that the Blues were looking to sell the Albania international back in January before sanctioning his loan.

The report adds that West Ham have ‘long-term interest’ in Broja, who’s at risk of being sold in the summer. Our guess is he’d be a strong fit with his strength and movement at West Ham if the Hammers ramp up interest

How much Armando Broja could cost buyers

SportsLens has reported this week that Chelsea were hoping to generate as much as £50 million from Broja’s sale. Instead, insiders think a fee in the region of around £25 million is more feasible for the young centre-forward.

We’re very much on the fence regarding his future. If anyone makes a sizeable bid this summer, we can understand the club cashing in.

It was February 2022 that Frank Lampard described Broja as “very talented”, as quoted by Metro Sport. Unfortunately, he’s not kicked on since due to injury and form.

He’s not had much of a look-in since his loan move to Fulham, but the quick attacker still has potential for someone to unlock.
