Reports have now shared the signings Chelsea actually want to make in the upcoming transfer window.

According to the Evening Standard, the club have three positions in mind that they really want to strengthen when the current campaign comes to an end.

Transfer windows under Todd Boehly have largely been busy affairs, with nearly a billion pounds already being spent by the American in the two years he has been involved with the club.

However, this story changed drastically in the most recent window, with the Blues not completing a permanent signing and prioritising players leaving the club on loan.

Chelsea in for a busy summer

That will surely be addressed this summer though, with it looking a real possibility again that they miss out on European football for the second consecutive season.

Selling players is likely to play a key role in allowing them to spend big money again though, with a number of first team players reportedly on the list who could be sold.

Conor Gallagher is the headline name frequently linked with an exit this summer, despite the fact he has been crucial for Mauricio Pochettino throughout this campaign.

Chelsea want a striker, left-back and centre-back

When it comes to players joining the club though, it has now been reported there are three positions they are looking to strengthen in the summer.

A striker, centre-back, and left-back are reportedly on the agenda, and there are a number of stars who have already been linked with the moves.

Victor Osimhen has been named as one of the top targets to come in up front, however his price tag has left Chelsea prone to hijacking from PSG who are looking to replace Kylian Mbappe.

Another name they have reportedly shown interest in is Viktor Gyokeres, with his impressive goal tally at Sporting Lisbon this season showing why a number of top sides in Europe are interested in his services.
