Leicester City centre-back Conor Coady has revealed what the players spoke about after suffering back-to-back defeats to Millwall and Plymouth Argyle.
It’s been a challenging period for Enzo Maresca‘s side, who have been dragged right back into the chasing pack after a run of six defeats in 10 Championship games.
City’s automatic promotion hopes are now in real jeopardy, as they reside just a point above third-placed Leeds United, who admittedly have played a game more.
A story emerged last week claiming that Maresca locked his players in the changing room at Home Park and delivered a one-hour debrief.
Coady, speaking on the Monday Night Club, has revealed what Leicester players have been speaking about over the last week.

A lot was made of the Plymouth display last Friday, with the travelling fans unhappy at City’s lacklustre performance.
It marked a second defeat in a week on the road and in both games, the East Midlanders failed to score, which is concerning heading into the final few games of the season.
Coady has laid bare what was said following the dismal run of results: “From our point of view we’ve spoken as a team over the last week in terms of results we’ve had Leicester.
“Because we can’t concentrate on anybody else, we can’t affect what anybody else is doing. (We’ve) looked at ourselves and gone ‘right it’s us and that’s it’.
The 31-year-old continued: “We focus on ourselves, we do certain things and that’s how you’ve got to be and that’s how we believe we’ve got to be because when you get to this end of the season you’re within touching distance of what you want to get and what your desperate for and what you’ve worked all season for.
“But like I said, 100% as human beings I’d be silly if I sit how now and go ‘I don’t look at any results’.”
Attention turns towards West Bromwich Albion
Leicester need to forget about their last two results and channel exactly what Coady alluded to.
If they get the basics right, then they’ll be too much for a visiting Albion side who sit 16 points adrift of them, having played a game more.
Defensively, they’ve been well below their usual standards and have lacked concentration in key moments, so that’s certainly an area to improve on.
Their goalscoring woes have become particularly evident in the last two games, too, with a number of opportunities squandered.
So, again, that’s something they’ll have to drastically work on.
