‘Exciting’ player linked with Inter Miami now appears on club’s website, despite no announcement

A rumored Inter Miami transfer target has now appeared on the club’s official website despite no announcement yet over a deal.

The Herons have been linked with a number of players in recent months, with the signing of Lionel Messi increasing Inter Miami’s global profile to unprecedented levels and helping the Florida franchise attract some top names.

This year alone has seen Luis Suarez and Julian Gressel join Inter Miami, with Federico Redondo also picking Tata Martino’s side over the likes of FC Barcelona and Real Madrid in one of the best deals of 2024 for an MLS club.

And it appears that Inter Miami might now have announced another signing by accident.

Matias Rojas appears on Inter Miami’s official website despite no announcement

As spotted by journalist Cristian Moraes, a profile of Matias Rojas has appeared on Inter Miami’s website, despite the Herons not yet announcing they have signed the Paraguay international.

Lauded as ‘exciting’ by MLS Multiplex, Rojas has been strongly linked with a move to Inter Miami after being released by Corinthians, with the 28-year-old set to become the next South American to make the switch to Florida with Messi and company.

Indeed, with the Herons in need of midfield depth, signing Rojas who can operate both from deep and as a winger would be a great signing for Inter Miami in their bid to keep as many superstar players as fit as possible this season.

Yet this error on the club’s official website will come as a slap in the face for Inter Miami’s front office, who probably had a whole announcement plan put into place ahead of Rojas’ arrival to America.

Inter Miami need to announce new signing as soon as possible

Inter Miami accidentally announcing a new signing is as on brand as one can get with the Herons, who over the years have had a number of hilarious slip-ups both on and off the pitch.

And with the arrival of Rojas now seemingly the worst-kept secret in MLS, Inter Miami should save us all the trouble and announce the Paraguayan as a new signing as soon as possible.

After all, if the player himself has now made it onto the club’s official website, there must be some degree of confirmation that a deal is happening, with Rojas seemingly set to become Inter Miami’s newest player.
