‘Unbelievable’ Tottenham player suddenly set to stay this summer after holding transfer meeting at Hotspur Way

Tottenham Hotspur are now expected to keep one of the players who looked destined to leave in this summer’s transfer window.

Ange Postecoglou has already promised there will be change at Tottenham over the coming months when the window opens.

The Australian has admitted there will be several players leaving the club this summer as he continues to put his stamp on the squad.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Bryan Gil and Ryan Sessegnon are just three of a long list of names who could be on the move this summer.

In total, it is believed Postecoglou has a list of 15 players who he would be willing to sell at Tottenham.

However, it seems one of the names on that list may now be set to stay after having held talks back at Hotspur Way.

Tottenham have change of heart over future of ‘exciting’ forward

This summer will provide Postecoglou with his third opportunity to mold this Tottenham side into the team he wants.

The Australian inherited a Tottenham side which finished eighth in the Premier League last season.

Work has already started on bolstering this Spurs squad with players like Micky van de Ven and James Maddison offering immediate improvements.

But Spurs will need to clear out a number of their players this summer to create some space for new arrivals.

Richarlison is a player who has been linked with a potential move to Saudi Arabia ahead of the summer, but this may no longer be the case.

According to PL Brasil, the 27-year-old forward has now sat down with officials at Spurs to discuss his future.

Although a big-money offer from Saudi could potentially land for him this summer, Richarlison is believed to be keen to remain at Spurs.

The report claims Spurs are satisfied with the “unbelievable” Richarlison’s displays and have him in their plans for the upcoming campaign.

Tottenham still need to upgrade on Richarlison with new striker

If Richarlison is to remain at Tottenham next season, there will still be a need for Spurs to try and find their long-term successor for Harry Kane.

The Brazilian’s returns were impressive considering the number of injury issues he has endured over the course of the campaign.

However, it is those injuries which have to provide Tottenham with concerns going into the new campaign.

Here is a summary of Richarlison’s injury issues this season.

Having Richarlison available as a rotational option would be a positive for Spurs as he has shown some positive form, but it does feel like Spurs need a new number nine for next season.
