'Available': Man Utd have decided they could sell ‘unbelievable’ player for the right price - journalist

Manchester United have a number of players who will be leaving this summer.

The likes of Anthony Martial and Raphael Varane are already on their way out, while Casemiro is a player who has consistently been linked with a move away.

Marcus Rashford is another player whose future has come into question, and speaking on The Transfers Podcast, Duncan Castles has suggested that the England international could leave Old Trafford.

Indeed, the journalist says that Rashford would be available for transfer if the right fee was offered, but he noted that PSG are no longer so keen on Rashford as Luis Enrique sees him as a central striker rather than a left winger who can replace Kylian Mbappe.

Marcus Rashford could go for the right price

Castles shared what he’s heard about the ‘unbelievable‘ player.

“Alternatives have included Marcus Rashford. A player PSG have pursued for two seasons now and interestingly, he would be available for transfer from Manchester United if the right fee was offered. However, I’m told PSG aren’t focusing on Rashford because Enrique seems him more as a number nine than a left-winger,” Castles said.

Who will take Rashford?

Rashford is available for the right price this summer, but that will surely be a huge fee for a homegrown player on astronomical wages.

If United want big money for Rashford, it’s hard to see where he goes next.

After such a poor season that saw the attacker lose his place in the England squad, Rashford’s stock is at an all-time low, and it would be a bit of a gamble in signing a player who is in such poor form.

There have been whispers about Arsenal potentially making a move for Rashford, but the Gunners are no fools and if the asking price for Rashford proves to be too high, United will struggle to find a suitor.

Rashford’s situation is certainly one to keep an eye on this summer.
