Tottenham Hotspur will be hoping that West Ham United come through and sign a key Julen Lopetegui transfer target this summer.
West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui is desperately trying to bolster his attacking ranks at the London Stadium this summer, and he may well do Tottenham a big favour in the process.
Wilfried Zaha is someone who’s firmly on the Hammers’ radar, but Lopetegui is seemingly casting his net far and wide.
The Spaniard needs to add some trickery, creativity and guile to our front-line, especially in the left wing department.
Ideally, the former Wolves boss will sign a right-footed left winger this summer, after Said Benrahma was let go in January without being replaced.
The latest transfer rumour involving West Ham has Lopetegui going in for one of our old targets – someone who David Moyes tried desperately to bring to the London Stadium.

So according to a report from the Sunday Express (print edition June 2nd, page 5 of the sport pull-out), the Hammers are one of several Premier League clubs chasing the signature of Sunderland star Jack Clarke.
According to a report from the Mirror, Tottenham included a 25% sell-on clause when Clarke left to join Sunderland in 2022.
So if West Ham sign the 23-year-old winger for £15 million, Spurs will be in line to receive a nice little £3.75 million bonus.
Moyes tried to bring the English winger to the London Stadium in the January transfer window, but failed to do so.
Clarke was in superb form Sunderland this season just gone, bagging 15 goals and four assists in just 40 Championship games (Transfermarkt).
The winger clearly has the ability to score and create goals, possesses exceptional technical ability and is really direct when he has the ball at his feet.
Clarke is now coming into the prime years of his career, and he will undoubtedly continue to get better and better over the next few years.
Julen Lopetegui cannot go wrong by bringing the Sunderland star to West Ham for just £15 million this summer, and the Tottenham board will be keeping their fingers crossed that we’re successful in our pursuit of the former Spurs man.
