Although he now has an account on the app, Donald was vocal in his criticism of TikTok while he was in office and even tried to ban it in the US with an executive order. However, his efforts were unsuccessful and he has since walked back his views on advocating for the ban.

Donald Trump’s TikTok stardom is bad news for Joe Biden

Seeing just how popular the former president’s TikTok debut has been, it could spell bad news for the current when it comes to the outcome of the forthcoming presidential election.

“Donald Trump has my vote,” a fan commented on Donald’s only post, earning a staggering 33.1k likes. “Mine too!” another replied.

Plenty of others have come out to show their support, and his enhanced social media presence could potentially see some swayed in their voting as the election looms.

Already being called “one of the most iconic TikToks of all time”, his reach could receive quite a boost.
