Journalist has 'good news for Man United' about Michael Olise after speaking with sources

Michael Olise is making a number of headlines heading into this summer transfer window.

Indeed, the Crystal Palace winger is a wanted man heading into this summer, and Manchester United are said to be among the clubs most keen on the attacker.

However, United have some issues at the moment.

Indeed, the Red Devils don’t have their ducks in a row right now as their managerial situation remains unclear as does their transfer strategy.

However, according to Ben Jacobs, speaking on The Done Deal Show, United’s current issues may not hamper their pursuit of Olise as he’s heard from sources that the player won’t rush any decision as he’s something of an overthinker who will analyse every option before making a decision.

Michael Olise is an overthinker

Jacobs shared what he’s been told about Olise.

“I don’t think they have to worry about Olise going anywhere today or tomorrow. He’s an overthinker from what people say about the player,” Jacobs said.

“Just because Chelsea or Newcastle enter the race for Olise, there will be no panic, that may come late in the window and that’s good news for Man United because they could have the funds by then. Olise will cost between £60-65m through a complicated release clause.”

Olise may move late in the window

Olise doesn’t appear to be in a rush to move this summer, and that’s good news for Manchester United.

Indeed, if Olise wanted to get out of Selhurst Park immediately, a move to Old Trafford wouldn’t be viable as United aren’t quite prepared to dip into the transfer market just yet as they continue to stall on making a managerial decision.

By the sounds of it though, Olise will still be on the market by the time United are ready to make their moves as he overthinks his own future, and that is good news for United as they could certainly use a player as talented as Olise in their squad next season.
