The player Enzo Fernandez has said he wants Chelsea to sign is available for £10.6m this summer

A player Enzo Fernandez wants Chelsea to sign is now available for £10.6m this summer transfer window, according to a recent report.

Following Mauricio Pochettino’s dismissal, it’s been a hectic week or so for Chelsea and now with the transfer window fast approaching, it’s set to ramp up a notch.

Enzo Maresca has taken charge of the Stamford Bridge outfit and will be eager to make his own imprint on the squad.

The former Leicester City boss is expected to implement a possession-orientated style of play and will need new profiles.

One could be a striker, who Fernandez wants The Blues to sign.

Paulo Dybala available for £10.6m

Paulo Dybala has been on the radar of many clubs across Europe for some time now, dating back to his days at Juventus.

Now at Roma, he remains one of the best players in Italy having netted 16 goals whilst laying on 10 assists last term.

Remarkably, the 30-year-old has a £10.6m release clause for clubs outside of Italy and he is open to a move to the Premier League, according to Sky Sports.

Fernandez has previously said he’d love Dybala to sign for Chelsea, so he could be key in convincing the board to move for him.

Paulo Dybala statistics

Dybala’s FBref statistics are impressive and amplify why Chelsea should be all over his signature this summer.

The 38-cap Argentina international sits in the top 10 per cent for assists compared to his positional peers across Europe, demonstrating his terrific playmaking ability.

Further, he sits in the top 15 per cent for progressive passes, which only amplifies that notion.

That said, he’d be perfect for a Maresca system as he likes his striker to drop deep and link the midfield, which Dybala excels at.

For £10.2m, signing Dybala is a no-brainer.
