Travis Kelce warns Jason he needs to 'buckle up' and watch his wife Kylie

Travis Kelce has warned Jason to “buckle up” when it comes to the Sunday game-day experience with his wife Kylie.

The Kelce brothers duo provide endless entertainment on their podcast New Heights, which has become incredibly popular since its launch in September 2022. Although largely billed as a sports podcast, there will be many who tune in to hear Jason and Travis Kelce discuss just about anything. It’s their personalities that make the show, and in a recent episode, Travis took a moment to highlight the strong and fiery personality of his brother’s wife, Kylie.

Travis Kelce tells Jason to ‘buckle up’ for wife Kylie’s Eagles energy

Now that Jason’s legendary 13-year career for the American football team the Philadelphia Eagles has come to an end, Trav took the opportunity to ask him on the latest New Heights what his Sunday game-day experience will look like.

“Are you a red zone guy or are you gonna be watching the Eagles with Ky?” he questioned the 36-year-old retired center. “I’m not sure if you’ve ever seen Kylie watch an Eagles game but I’m sure excited for you to witness that for the first time.”

When Jason misunderstood the question to be about his brother’s playoff games, Travis corrected “No, I’m talking about Eagles. You’ve never seen Ky watch the Eagles. Buckle up dude, buckle up.”

“Gets intense?” Jason asked. “Ohhhh baby,” Trav laughed. “Monday Night Football might need to hire her for her analyst work. Although you won’t be playing. So random shouts of ‘Jason’s gotta get his s**t together’, random shouts like that, there won’t be as heartfelt, but it’s the best.”

Hilariously, Jason suggested “She might still be doing that. I’m gonna be giving, like, an analysis, and she’s like ‘Jason you’re a f***ing idiot,’ she’ll probably still be doing that.”

Jason’s speech about meeting his wife is as sweet as it gets

When Jason announced his retirement from the field in March 2024, he gave an emotional speech. Wrapping it up, he focused on the love he feels for Kylie, whom he married in April 2018.

“I still remember the moment she walked through the door,” he recalled of the drunken night out in Philadelphia when they first met.

“The first instance is burned in my retina, it was like she glided through the opening, an aura around her. And then she started talking and I thought, ‘Man, is this what love feels like?’ She was beautiful, smart, serious, yet playful. I knew it right away.”

He argued it’s no coincidence he’s been at his best as a sportsman since he’s been with her. “Every accolade I have ever received in my life has come with her in my life,” he praised. “She has brought the best out of me through love, devotion, support, honesty, intelligence, and of course a swift kick in the a** from time to time.”

Extending his love and gratitude to their “three beautiful girls”, he said she has given him a wonderful “life that increasingly brings me more fulfillment off the field than it does on.”

Spoken like a true romantic, Jason.
