What is Ezri Konsa’s age and height?

Konsa was born on October 23, 1997. At the time of writing, he is 26 years old. He also stands at 1.83 metres which is six foot exactly.

Where was he born?

Konsa was born in the London borough of Newham. It is situated in the Inner London part of East London.

Konsa has a partner called Ronni. Little is known about their relationship publicly. When Konsa was first called up into the England squad in November 2023, he told the media that Ronni was ‘crying tears of joy’ and was ‘more excited than him’ about the news.

Before he joined Villa, Konsa played for two other clubs, Charlton Athletic and Brentford.

The defender progressed through the former’s academy where he became a key player in League One.

In 2018, he would join Brentford in the Championship where he impressed again as the Bees finished 10 points outside the playoffs.

After just a year at the club, newly promoted Villa brought in the defender to join them in the Premier League.

Konsa has now played five seasons at Villa Park. In this time, he has gone from strength to strength.

The defender has made 121 Premier League appearances for Villa. This has helped see the club rise from the foot of the table all the way up to fourth by the 2023/24 season, resulting in Champions League qualification.

The Englishman earned his first call-up into the Three Lions squad in November 2023. However, his debut would not come until March 2024, when Gareth Southgate brought on Konsa in England’s 1-0 defeat to Brazil.

Since then, he has a total of three caps for England and was named in the provisional squad for the 2024 Euros.

What did Gareth Southgate say about him?

When Konsa earned his third England cap against Bosnia and Herzegovina, the defender managed to see out his first clean sheet for his country in a 3-0 win.

After the match, Southgate was full of praise for the centre-back, believing that he is ‘very confident’ in an England shirt.

“We weren’t intending to move him quite as much,” Southgate said after the 3-0 win. “We took Lewis [Dunk] off as a precaution and the best way was to put Ezri at centre-half, which I think is his strongest position anyway.

“That’s his third cap, he’s done very well in all three. That adaptability is helpful to us. He’s playing in a team that have had an extremely good season and he’s been a big part of that. He looks very confident in an England shirt.”
