Many Everton fans left furious after seeing supposed kit for next season

Everton fans have been left furious after an image of their potential 2024/24 home kit has been leaked online.

A turbulent 2023/24 campaign for Everton can now be put behind them after Sean Dyche‘s side comfortably finished above the drop zone.

But a busy summer awaits the Toffees with Farhad Moshiri in fresh talks with several parties over the potential takeover of the club.

And that is on top of possible player sales with the likes of Jarrad Branthwaite receiving a lot of interest ahead of the summer.

With the new season now on the horizon, fans will be keen to know who they can get printed on the back of their new shirts.

But it seems not all fans have been left impressed with the rumoured home shirt for the upcoming campaign.

Everton fans left frustrated with Castore’s rumoured 2024/25 home shirt

Having previously been signed with Hummel as the club’s kit manufacturer, Everton have made the controversial move to Castore this summer.

The kit provider has established themselves in the Premier League with the likes of Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Wolves over recent years.

But the brand has not been best known for their manufacturing quality with defects often seen even on the player issued shirts during games.

A leaked image of the shirt – which is backed by the reliable Footy Headlines – has emerged on social media and it is fair to say fans have been left frustrated.

One fan kicked off the reaction by saying, ‘Neither heritage nor special for our last year at Goodison’. Whilst another added, ‘Boring.. badge looks weird.. and where is the last season Goodison touch?’

Another fan was clearly not impressed with what Castore had to offer, adding, ‘Have we borrowed a Chelsea kit?’ And another even said, ‘It’s not great is it lol looks cheap.’

One other fan kept it very blunt by saying, ‘Awful’. Whilst another shared his clear frustration, adding, ‘That is horrendous’.

Everton will be hoping for more quality on the pitch next season

Considering the pressure which was on the side to stay up in the Premier League, Everton’s displays in the final weeks of the season were seriously impressive.

Dyche’s men were able to take 13 points from a possible 18 in their final six games which is the type of form a side pushing in the top half of the table would display.

And that is exactly what fans will want to see going into the new campaign with Everton already being linked with Matteo Guendouzi to bolster their midfield.

Players may well end up departing Merseyside over the coming months, but an improvement on last season – as a whole – will be demanded with large chunks simply not good enough.
