Scottish actor Sam Heughan has said Taylor Swift will “forget all about” Travis Kelce when he rocks up to the Eras Tour.
Since the pair went official in September 2023, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have become one of the most famous couples on the planet—if not the most. The 34-year-olds are adored worldwide, with fans swooning over the sight of Tay showing up to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s Super Bowl games, and him returning the love by dancing to her iconic hits at a string of Eras Tour shows. He originally had hopes of sparking a romance by showing up to one of her concerts and gifting her a friendship bracelet with his number on it. Sam Heughan thinks Taylor Swift won’t ‘resist’ him at Eras Tour show
The 44-year-old Scottish actor Sam Heughan, best known for playing Jamie Fraser in the TV series Outlander, recently posted a video on Instagram captioned “Welcome to Scotland Taylor! JAMMF is a Swiftie.”
Dressed in costume for the historical drama show, he told the camera “We’re going to go see Taylor Swift play in Scotland and I think most of the cast is going. She obviously doesn’t know this, but when she comes to Scotland and she sees me in the audience, she’s going to forget all about … him [referring to Travis] and fall for a man in a ginger wig.”
Playfully, he asked “How can she resist? She’s going to shake him off and take me out instead. I’m really excited!”

Accompanied by the hit song Ready For It? taken from Tay’s album Reputation, the video has unsurprisingly reached legions of Swifties.
You can tell by Sam’s tone that it’s all in good fun and not meant to antagonize Trav, and it may even have earned him some new fans.

Although most are smitten with the Tay and Trav coupling, lots have appreciated the energy Sam brought in his cute shout-out.
Referencing Outlander, one hilariously joked that “He’s been stealing taken women since 1743.”
Another beamed: “I love it when famous people are fans of other famous people. We are all just human after all. I hope you get to meet her in person, Sam. Either way; ENJOY!”
Calling him “so funny and adorable,” yet another fan suggested he should actually go to the Eras Tour show dressed in full as Jamie.
Understanding, the humor in it, one reacted that they “absolutely love this. He is so funny, would love to see them all there, the whole cast.”
Wooing Taylor isn’t exactly easy work, but Sam’s fans have some friendly advice he’d be wise to heed. “Make her a friendship bracelet, Sam. I hear that works.”
