Report: Everton receive promising takeover update with party 'prepared' to meet Farhad Moshiri's demands

Everton have now received a significant boost in their prospective takeover following the collapse of 777’s pursuit of the club.

For what has been a fairly drawn out process, the last few days have been somewhat of a whirlwind for Everton fans.

Farhad Moshiri continues to seek his way out of Goodison Park this summer, but saw 777 Partners fail to meet their deadline at the end of last month to complete their purchase of the club.

That then opened the door for other proposed buyers and Moshiri has been involved in talks with numerous parties over buying Everton Football Club.

And it now seems as if a potential takeover at Goodison has taken a major step forward over recent hours with an update emerging involving a prospective bid.

Party make step forward in Everton takeover saga

After months and months of talks about 777 attempting to get their bid for the club over the line, it now seems as if Everton are closer than ever to securing new ownership.

Following a turbulent season in the Premier League, Sean Dyche has been able to secure Premier League football for next season.

And it seems as if the Toffees could land the biggest boost of them all with new owners potentially heading to Goodison over the coming months.

According to El Bobble, Andy Bell and George Downing are now prepared to meet the valuation set by Moshiri to land Everton.

Months and months of waiting for 777 to get their ducks in a row have now passed and it seems the local businessmen have been waiting for their opportunity to approach Moshiri.

Having now ‘done all they can’ to put themselves forward as the new proposed owners of Everton, an exciting wait lies ahead.

Everton could soon be backed by incredible wealth

The proposed takeover is also being backed by the multi-billionaire Michael Dell of Dell Technologies, according to The Telegraph.

Bell and Downing have already put £50m into Everton to back one of the creditors involved in the 777 bid, but would see their wealth gazumped by that of Dell.

Dell has a net worth of £84 billion and has shown interest in the past in buying into English football having been keen on investing in Sunderland a number of years ago.

After months of back and forth with 777, the signs are positive for Everton fans in seeing their club finally edge closer to a new beginning.
