Taylor Swift fans yet to attend the Eras Tour should be eagle-eyed at shows after others spot strange ‘error’ of sorts in the staging.
When you head out to a concert you expect a show, but it’s no exaggeration to say that the Eras Tour is so much more than just a show. Taylor Swift’s immensely ambitious concert tour has become the highest-grossing in music history, and fans certainly leave feeling they’ve gotten their money’s worth. The 34-year-old is the biggest star on the planet right now, and with that status earns out-of-this-world spectacle from her stage show. Like with a blockbuster movie, however, some eagle-eyed attendees have spotted some errors…
Taylor Swift fans ‘never noticed’ Eras Tour ladder error until now
“Someone commented on one of my videos saying that Taylor’s feet don’t line up with the steps of the ladder and now I’ll never unsee it,” an account called Tswiftclips posted to TikTok accompanied by a video taken at the Eras Tour.
The footage appears to show Taylor Swift ascending a ladder and vanishing into some cloud staging. However, if you look at her feet they appear just above the rungs of the ladder, seemingly resting in darkness.
“I think there’s ‘steps’ behind it,” a fan suggested in the comments. “I don’t know if y’all tried a ladder in heels. Not easy.”
Another similarly reacted “It’s not a ladder. [It] looks like camouflaged stairs so she can climb safely and reliably.”
Many of the reactions argue that Tay is climbing some stairs with a ladder projected onto them. On the other hand, others have been quick to raise another perspective.
“She’s not there,” one insisted. “She dives under the stage then gets changed and comes back up from underneath, it’s a video playing on the screen!”
Others have echoed that the entire scene, including Taylor herself, is a projection: “It’s the visuals on the screen, she’s not actually climbing the ladder on stage, she’s actually getting changed under the stage.”

Many of the comments are focused strictly on the stage-show trickery of Taylor’s ladder, but others have hilariously pointed out other errors and details they’ve obsessed over elsewhere.
“That one uncurled hair in the Speak Now TV cover art,” one commented. “Ughhhh that drives me crazy it was the first thing I noticed when she announced it,” somebody reacted.
“Me with the one piece of hair in her mouth on the 1989 TV cover,” yet another weighed in.
Funnily enough, comments like that kept on coming. “Me but with the yellow column on the right side of the Lover album art,” someone pointed out.
Even in Taylor’s world, nothing’s perfect, but it’s as close as it gets.
