Rihanna breaks silence over pregnancy rumors but it's 'bad news' for fans

Fans of Rihanna have been going wild on social media, speculating that the music sensation may be having another baby, but now those rumors have been laid to rest.

Rihanna‘s music is loved by all, so it’s no surprise that fans are desperate for the star to release more music, eight years after her last album release. However, the 36-year-old icon has not only been busy working on her Fenty fashion and makeup brand, with a new haircare line launching, but also enjoying time with her two sons, RZA, 2, and Riot, 10 months, who she shares with ASAP Rocky. The renowned couple began their relationship back in 2019 and have been at the forefront of a lot of fan attention.

Music sensation Rihanna admits to “wanting more” kids

Previously, the star had spoken out about wanting to be a “girl mom”, and since she only has sons, fans believe this must mean she’s going to have more.

Speaking with ET at her Fenty Hair launch party in Los Angeles, Rihanna addressed her previous statement, joking “Look how that turned out”.

When directly asked if she wants to have more kids, the singer replied, “I hope so, I do. I would definitely have more kids”, before quickly shutting down the fan rumors by adding, “I’m not pregnant if that’s what you’re asking”.

Fans of the star have been waiting for a long time for her highly-anticipated new album, with some even joking that it may never come because she’s happy living her life, after she was seen wearing a top that read “I’m retired”.

Her last studio album, Anti, was released in 2016, before she shifted her focus onto her fashion endeavors.

However, Rihanna also revealed that she has in fact not retired from music, and is ready to get back to work on her next album.

“I’m here, I’m clocked in. Music for me is a new discovery, I’m rediscovering things. I have been working on this album for so long that I put all that stuff aside, and now I’m prepared to go back to the studio”.

Although she is creating new sounds, fans don’t have to fear losing any hits as she has plans to intertwine the songs.

“I don’t want to neglect the songs that I have, so I actually want to go back and listen to stuff with new ears with my new perspective and see what applies and what I’m still in love with.”
