Every event the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is hosting this summer as Spurs income boost continues

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is playing host to yet more events during the football club’s off-season, with concerts and sporting contests.

Chairman Daniel Levy is starting to see the fruits of his labour when it comes to building Tottenham their new stadium.

Roughly £1billion was spent on building a state-of-the-art arena that could host more than just football throughout the calendar year.

There was some criticism surrounding the need to move away from White Hart Lane, which housed many of the club’s greatest memories and trophy success.

A look across north London shows that rivals Arsenal had a lean spell when it came to success after they built the Emirates Stadium and moved away from Highbury.

However, the plan for Spurs was clear in that they needed to increase revenue to compete with other clubs within the Premier League’s financial rules.

Creating a stadium which not only hosts more supporters but can support events and has space for people to arrive earlier and stay later naturally leads to an increase in income.

This summer will see even more events, so with that said, here’s a look at the events being hosted at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.

How much money do Tottenham make from their stadium?

Tottenham have seen an increase in their revenues since moving into their new stadium, with the 2023 accounts seeing it top the £500k mark.

Speaking in the 2023 financial statement, Levy said: “Our turnover has exceeded half a billion pounds for the first time.

“Whilst UEFA monies contributed, this has also been driven by increased stadium revenues from both football and non-football events and additional revenue streams.

“This is the impact of our multi-use stadium and what our Board has been focussed on delivering in order to invest in our football in a financially sustainable manner. The absolute priority for our club is to deliver on-pitch success.”

While there is no full confirmation on how much Tottenham make from each event specifically, there are estimates in place.

The Athletic claims that a concert can make roughly £15million for the club, though after costs for hosting it, that profit comes to £5million.

Add onto that the agreement the club have with the NFL for games to be hosted there, including a cut of the merchandise, food and drinks and the income still sits in the millions.

It’s a good move for the football club as revenue is key in the age of profit and sustainability rules, however, it does raise questions over Tottenham’s decision to increase ticket prices for supporters at the same time.
