'Working on many requests': Agent of £15m Tottenham player confirms summer exit is on the cards

Tottenham want to move on a number of players this summer and the agent of one midfielder has suggested a summer deal will be getting done.

Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou wants to bring new players into the club this summer and to do so, he needs to also move a number of stars on.

Tottenham fell short of the Champions League places last season but overall, there was a positive feeling around the club in Postecoglou’s first season.

A number of players are expected to leave though.

And according to the agent of one squad player, enquiries have already come flooding in.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s agent confirms summer transfer rumours

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Fabrizio Romano, Hojbjerg’s agent, Luca Puccinelli, has confirmed he is working on a number of lines of enquiry.

“He is telling me that every year he dream of trophies in the end of the season and don’t like to play for nothing. This is his mindset, this is the mission,” Puccinelli said.

“I am working on the many requests that we have already received, yes. But we will analyse all the possibilities after the Euros, during the holidays when we will spend some time together and then look forward to the next chapter”.

Tottenham paid £15m to sign Hojbjerg when Jose Mourinho was in charge and they’ll be looking to get a similar sort of fee back.

Quite who comes in for the Dane, remains to be seen.

However, there has been interest reported already, with the likes of Fulham and Atletico Madrid both keen on signing the midfielder.

As for Ange Postecoglou, he’ll be open to the deal, albeit hearing Hojbjerg’s agent be so brazen in his assessment here will not sit well.

The Tottenham boss runs a tight ship and while he used the midfielder a lot last season, Postecoglou does have other preferences in the middle of the park.
