'He is a super talent': Danny Murphy says £60m player Arsenal reportedly want to sign is absolutely brilliant

Danny Murphy had labelled an Arsenal target a ‘super talent’ and has tipped him to achieve big things in the game.

Mikel Arteta will be cheering on Spain at Euro 2024 but will have an eye on other nations as he looks to add to his squad in the summer transfer window.

A number of rumoured Arsenal targets will be plying their trade at the illustrious tournament in Germany and one has just received glowing praise from Murphy.

Danny Murphy heaps praise on Georgiy Sudakov

Speaking prior to Ukraine’s group game against Romania, Murphy heaped praise on Arsenal target Georgiy Sukdakov.

“He is going to end up doing good things in the game, he is super talent,” Murphy said on the BBC.

“Lovely balance, glides past people. He is a real talent, lots of clubs looking at him all over Europe. I think he is going to be expensive to get him out of there. But we will be seeing much more of this guy throughout the tournament, he’s a super talent.”

Georgiy Sudakov statistics

Sudakov enjoyed a productive season for Shakhtar Donetsk last term, netting 10 times whilst laying on six assists.

The 21-year-old has been likened to Manchester City’s Phil Foden, with the pair both creative left-footed players.

Tottenham Hotspur have been credited with an interest in Sudakov, so Arsenal will be keen to steal a march on his signature.

They won’t want him to have too good of a tournament, though, as his £60m price tag will skyrocket.
