A 19-year-old motorist died after a head-on crash with another vehicle in Cumberland County on Friday morning, according to police.
Dayshaun Brown, of Buena Borough’s Minotola section, died Friday after being airlifted to Cooper University Medical Center in Camden, police said Monday.
Brown was northbound on South Lincoln Avenue in Vineland around 7:30 a.m. Friday when his car crossed the centerline near Mildred Lane, hitting a pickup truck driven by a 58-year-old Vineland man. First responders had to free Brown from his car, police said.
The 58-year-old man was also taken to a hospital in critical condition. Police did not provide an update on his condition on Monday.
No charges were filed as of Monday. An investigation into the crash remains ongoing, police said.
