Fabrizio Romano says 'unplayable' Arsenal talent is now set to leave N5 amid offers from other clubs

Arsenal have a busy summer on the transfer front as Mikel Arteta and Edu look to bolster their ranks ahead of next season.

The Gunners did well last term, taking the Premier League title race to the final day, and will hope to go one better next year.

There will no doubt be numerous outgoings too, as Arsenal look to balance any new incomings out with departures.

However, there’s always the risk of clubs losing players that they didn’t necessarily want to lose.

This is the case with one of Arsenal’s academy talents, who now looks set to depart the Emirates Stadium on a free transfer.

Amario Cozier-Duberry decides to leave Arsenal

The player in question is Amario Cozier-Duberry, who has come through the ranks at Hale End and shone for the Under-21s last term.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the 19-year-old is set to leave Arsenal as a free agent at the end of June when his contract ends.

Arsenal offered Cozier-Duberry a new deal, but he decided it wasn’t the best option for his development, added the transfer insider.

Romano then claimed that the winger is now assessing options around Europe, with several proposals having made their way to him.

Who is Arsenal academy graduate Amario Cozier-Duberry?

Cozier-Duberry is a 19-year-old attacking talent who can play on both wings and at No. 10.

Born in London, he joined the Arsenal setup in October 2019 and has become arguably one of the most exciting prospects in England right now.

Last season, Cozier-Duberry registered an impressive 13 goals and five assists from just 24 age-level outings in all competitions.

He also made senior matchday squads in the Champions League and the Carabao Cup, but hasn’t made his senior debut for the Gunners.

It’s a shame Cozier-Duberry looks set to leave Arsenal from the club’s point of view, but it makes sense, as he’ll be eager to start getting first-team football.
