Report: What is now being said about Ebere Eze's future as a result of Michael Olise leaving Crystal Palace

As Michael Olise’s exit from Crystal Palace is finalised, now there are concerns about what’s being said regarding Ebere Eze’s future.

For Crystal Palace, the exit of Michael Olise will be a blow but not a surprise considering how much interest there has been in him throughout 2024.

However losing one of the golden trio is going to be painful for the Eagles with Ebere Eze and Marc Guehi also often linked with moves away.

But now after Olise to Bayern, it’s been revealed how people around Selhurst Park are feeling about Eze and the club’s chances of keeping him.

What is happening with Ebere Eze

Losing one of their stars was always seen as being more likely than anything else, however, hopes were that losing one of the three could put Palace in a position to retain the others.

But according to a report from GiveMeSport, it could actually be the opposite which happens as they report the latest with Eze.

It’s said that the exit of Olise now has Palace concerned that Eze will entertain walking away from Selhurst Park this summer.

The club are worried that Eze will effectively see Olise departing and agree it’s the right time for him to also go, with the pair being very close on and off the pitch with an almost telepathic connection at times.

Losing Eze as well as Olise could potentially be catastrophic for Palace and leave Dougie Freedman effectively having to rebuild the entire attack around Jean-Philippe Mateta.

Will Palace be able to keep Ebere Eze this summer?

With Eze currently in Germany for the Euros this summer, there has been some silence around his potential exit, something we imagine will change upon England concluding their participation in the Euros.

Spurs are believed to be interested party number one and according to talkSPORT, the North London side will look into triggering Eze’s release clause once they clear their wage bill.

The clause is valued at £60m which is more than reasonable for a player of Eze’s quality.

It can also be assumed that further interested parties will also emerge once Eze is back from Germany with the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United all linked at various times.
