Man found dead between wall of N.J. business and shipping container, police say

A man was found dead Tuesday afternoon between the wall of a Newark business and a shipping container, police said.

Officers and Newark firefighters responded to the business on the 200 block of of Frelinghuysen Avenue at 3:55 p.m. and were able to move the container and remove the man, authorities said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene nearly an hour later, according to a statement from Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé.

Fragé said foul play was not suspected.

No other information was released Tuesday evening as the incident was still under investigation.
