MOPAR TEASES 2021 SEMA SHOW CONCEPTS: RAM TRX, WRANGLER 4XE AND MORE

The 2021 SEMA Show is happening, in person, after taking things digital last year. Needless to say, when you take out the swarms of crowds, the builds that overload your senses around every corner, and the occasional celebrity sighting, it just wasn’t the same. But after a year off, Mopar plans on storming the Las Vegas Convention Center once again with an arsenal of accessorized muscle, trucks, and go-anywhere SUVs. Teased today are five different concept sketches, depicting a Ram 1500 TRX, a Jeep Wrangler 4xe, and what looks to be a Kiaser Jeep from the 1960s. Rounding out the list is another Ram 1500 with a gear rack, and a Jeep Wrangler with an oversized hardtop.

The Ram TRX is a peculiar teaser, as it dons the electric blue hue that accents Jeep’s electrified 4xe models such as the Wrangler, as well as the 2022 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 4xe. Is Mopar about to show off a hybrid Hellcat truck? Maybe.

The other build piquing our interest is the Kaiser Jeep; the original Gladiator. Back in the 1960s, off-road lighting technology was nowhere near what we see today, but the teaser image appears to have a trio of spotlights affixed to this retired military truck. Likely blending the past with the present with a build that may have been more suited for the Overland Expo.

Mopar At The 2021 SEMA Show

Mopar – otherwise known as the accessories arm of Stellantis – will showcase multiple vehicles and hundreds factory-warranty-backed performance parts and accessories in its 15,345-square-foot exhibit in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Its usual spot, if you’ve ever been to the SEMA Show before.

This is also the first time the 702 horsepower Ram TRX and the hyper-efficient Jeep Wrangler 4xe will officially be present at the SEMA Show, and they’re sure to dozens of other parties showing off their own accessories and modifications for these highly sought-after vehicles. Both vehicles are also finalists for the coveted SEMA Full-Size Truck and SUV of the Year awards, respectively.
