While we need to watch what we eat as it can directly impact the functioning of the brain, we must be mindful of our fashion statement too.

Chiropractor explains how your clothing choice can cause back pain

According to certified chiropractor Dr. Jessica Bajohr, tight clothing can be the cause of your back pain.

She explains in one of her videos on TikTok that women who don’t wear properly fitting bras are prone to back problems.

When the straps around the shoulder and chest are too tight, you can find lines in your skin from wearing it.

The tight-fitting bras can end up damaging the fasia (a thin layer of connecting tissues holding together organs, blood vessels are more) and the muscles tissues.

This results in muscles spasm in shoulder areas or the mid-back muscles. The specialist specifically warns against wearing any kind of racerback or sports bra whose straps are too tight the areas discussed above.

Don’t wear skinny jeans too often

Skinny jeans and similar tight clothing can also impact your muscles and nerves negatively if they are worn consistently.

Tight clothes such as skinny jeans cause your nerves to compress resulting in numbness, tigling and pain in the thighs.

Other scientific studies on effect of tight clothes on the spine show limited movement in the upper body from wearing tight-fitting suits can significantly effect the muscles around the spine.

However, wearing tight-fitting clothes occasionally is till safe and you must go for skinny jeans made of a blend material that allow more movement.
