Watch as Pedro Porro has stinker in Tottenham’s Masters golf challenge

Tottenham Hotspur right-back has had an absolute nightmare in a golf challenge put on by the club today.

The Lilywhites are staying on theme this week and embracing the start of The Masters today in Augusta, America.

Focus for Ange Postecoglou‘s players will be on the race for the top four with a trip to Newcastle United coming up on Saturday for Tottenham.

Spurs took three points from their last outing against Nottingham Forest on the weekend and will find themselves three points clear in fourth with a win on Tyneside.

Postecoglou may hold firm that he is not fussed about finishing fourth, but it is apparent players like James Maddison are after his latest comments.

However, this has not stopped the players from having some fun at Hotspur Way ahead of their trip to the north east this weekend.

Tottenham’s Pedro Porro has moment to forget in The Masters putting challenge

Golf’s golden competition starts today and the likes of Rory McIlroy will be battling it out to get their hands on the green jacket.

Football and golf are two sports which have gone hand in hand over the years with a number of footballers picking up as a pass time.

Harry Kane is a big example of that with the club’s all-time record goalscorer holding that infamous Gary Neville interview over a round of golf.

And among the current crop of Tottenham players, it is said Timo Werner is one of the players who takes to the greens in his time away from the pitch.

The club’s media team are often seen welcoming the players into training on a morning with a topical question to answer.

On Thursday morning, there was a challenge set for the players and it is fair to say what Pedro Porro produced was nothing short of hilarious.

You can see just how the Spanish right-back got on below.

What Pedro Porro has said about where he’d like to play after Tottenham

From the video posted by the club, it is apparent the Spaniard should stick to football and not aim for a future in golf.

However, he has commented on where he could potentially look to play when his time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium comes to an end.

“In football you never know. Today you are playing there and tomorrow you can be playing somewhere else,” he said.

“Being Spanish, of course, I would like to come back and enjoy La Liga. When I played here [Spain] in Primera, I enjoyed it very much and I hope one day to return, of course.”
