'I've gone for': Peter Crouch shares who he thinks will win when Nottingham Forest host Wolves on Saturday

Former Premier League players Peter Crouch and Steve Sidwell have now shared their predictions for Nottingham Forest vs Wolves.

Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side are coming into the game at the City Ground on the back of their first defeat since the international break.

Forest’s trip to north London did not produce any points despite Chris Wood‘s best efforts after he levelled the score inside the first half.

However, there were some positives to take as Forest gave Champions League-chasing Tottenham Hotspur a good run for their money.

Now, Forest must turn their attention to a side who are closer to them in the Premier League table in Wolves.

And the predictions have been made by Crouch and Sidwell as Nuno’s side now only sit outside of the bottom three on goal difference.

Luton Town’s win on the weekend against Bournemouth has not done Forest any favours, but the Hatters will be playing Manchester City away tomorrow…

Peter Crouch shares his prediction as Nottingham Forest face stern challenge in Wolves

Just six games remain now for Nuno’s men to retain their Premier League status and Saturday will provide them with a big opportunity to open up another three-point gap.

Gary O’Neil’s side are coming into the game on the back of three games without a win and a controversial defeat last time out.

Although they may not provide the same quality as Tottenham, Wolves have shown under O’Neil they are no easy side to play against.

In the reverse fixture, Forest were able to hold Wolves to a 1-1 draw after Harry Toffolo opened the scoring in the first 15 minutes.

And the fine margins can be seen through the predictions made on the latest episode of That Peter Crouch Podcast.

Peter Crouch said, “I think this is a stalemate, I have gone for a 1-1 draw.” Meanwhile, Steve Sidwell said, “I don’t fancy Forest, even though they are at home. I’ve gone for Wolves.”

Andrew Omobamidele will be hoping for the fans to make the difference again

After their last outing at the City Ground, defender Andrew Omobamidele was left seriously impressed with the noise the fans made.

Fulham were put to the sword in the game last week and the atmosphere created is exactly what Forest will need tomorrow for the game against Wolves.

“Tuesday night was a great night. I keep going back to it, but the fans were amazing. You know, it was something I haven’t really experienced too many times in my career, that level of noise from minute one to the last,” he said.

“And I’m just happy we were able to give back to them with three points.”
