Nottingham Forest drew 2-2 with Wolves yesterday and Martin Keown noticed something about the Reds during the Premier League clash.
Morgan Gibbs-White and Danilo scored for Forest but a couple of goals from Matheus Cunha ensured Wolves left with a point.
Forest could have really done with all three points on a day when relegation rivals Luton were battered at Manchester City.
The Reds have been better of late, although the team perhaps hasn’t reaped the rewards in terms of points they’ve collected.
Head coachNuno Espirito Santo will know that wins need to come pretty quickly as they bid to stay in the division this term.
After the game, Martin Keown discussed Forest and their recent form, with the pundit claiming that he noticed something about the team yesterday.

What Martin Keown has noticed about Nottingham Forest
It was never going to be easy for anyone to come in and try to replace Steve Cooper – the man who ended a 23-year wait for Premier League football at Forest.
Espirito Santo was handed the tough task and in fairness, things started quite well when he first came in, with big wins against Newcastle and Manchester United.
Keown was impressed with Forest during yesterday’s game. He’s noticed something that they are doing now that he doesn’t feel was quite so evident under Cooper.
He toldMatch of the Day: “You’ve got to look at the positives, they keep going, they keep playing their football. Under Nuno, I definitely feel that they’re opening up now and playing better football than they were certainly before. It was a good game.”
Forest need points not praise
This is good to hear but ultimately, Forest will view yesterday as a missed opportunity to go three points clear of Luton and stick more daylight between the two teams.
Instead, Forest could now be in the bottom three by the time they next play. If Luton beat Brentford at home next weekend, the Reds will kick off against Everton in the drop zone.
It’s nice to hear Keown getting some praise in for Forest, however, the Reds desperately need points on the board at this stage of things.
Losing at Everton doesn’t bear thinking about next weekend. It promises to be a nervy time at Goodison Park and hopefully, Forest can produce the goods against another side in pretty ordinary form.
