'Ridiculous': Jurgen Klopp now shares his biggest regret during his time as Liverpool manager

Liverpool enjoyed a stunning spell under Jurgen Klopp, with the German completely turning things around at Anfield.

The Reds were stagnating before his arrival, with the talented manager slowly but surely changing the tide on the red half of Merseyside.

He has now departed the club following an eight-and-a-half-year managerial reign, citing a lack of energy as a major reason behind the decision, a stance that Wayne Rooney has empathised with.

It certainly wasn’t the dream farewell season, but the German did deliver further silverware in the form of the League Cup.

He will be sorely missed at Anfield, although there is excitement among fans ahead of the new era under Arne Slot.

There were, however, plenty of other successes to celebrate under Klopp, with the boss also winning the Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup (twice), Super Cup and Club World Cup with the Reds.

He has also had a major impact on many Anfield stars, with Caoimhin Kelleher the latest to praise his former boss.
