Ange Postecoglou signing is already open to leaving Tottenham but only on one condition

Tottenham Hotspur may already be seeing one of their recent signings look for a potential move away this summer.

A number of players have come through the doors at Hotspur Way since Ange Postecoglou‘s appointment last summer with more set to follow over the coming months.

The Spurs manager has already insisted there will be change over the summer when the transfer window opens with players arriving and departing.

Exits are going to be key for Spurs with the likes of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Bryan Gil looking set to leave to find more regular game time.

And then there are players like Richarlison who could potentially depart despite the Brazilian stating he will not leave this summer.

The Brazilian could also be joined in leaving the club by a player who has only been at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for a matter of months after Postecoglou signed him.

Ange Postecoglou signing open to Tottenham exit this summer

The large majority of the signings made by Postecoglou at Tottenham have proven to be roaring successes with the likes of Micky van de Ven proving to be one of the signings of the summer.

Then there is the likes of James Maddison and Guglielmo Vicario who have also provided instant upgrades to the starting XI in north London.

However, there is still one signing which is yet to really take off in the form of centre-back Radu Dragusin who was signed in the January window as a replacement for Eric Dier.

With Spurs only competing in the Premier League when he signed, Dragusin has found game time extremely difficult to come by.

According to Arena Napoli, the Romanian is a player who is on the radar for the 2022/23 Serie A champions.

And the report even claims that Dragusin would be open to a potential move to Napoli this summer, but only on a temporary basis.

Having already played in Serie A with Genoa, a potential move could provide Dragusin with a seamless return to Italian football.

However, Spurs have a much busier campaign ahead of them where opportunities are likely to be more frequent for the 22-year-old.

Radu Dragusin showed his worth in final games of the season

Dragusin may have struggled for game time in north London, but there were some promising signs towards the end of the campaign.

With Destiny Udogie sidelined through injury, the Romanian filled in for Van de Ven who was pushed out to left-back.

The Romanian was showing his worth alongside Cristian Romero and received a lot of praise following the game against Manchester City despite Spurs losing 2-0.

Journalist Alasdair Gold waxed lyrical about the 22-year-old calling his display “excellent” against one of Europe’s most difficult oppositions.

With Europa League football on the menu next season, opportunities are likely going to be available much more readily for Dragusin with Postecoglou needing to rotate his squad more frequently.

And the final couple of games in the 2023/24 campaign showed Spurs have a seriously good defender on their hands who is capable of providing solid cover for either of the two starting centre halves.
