Everton beat Crystal Palace to £17m star Dougie Freedman wanted as Michael Olise replacement - Fabrizio Romano

Crystal Palace are set to enter the market in the coming weeks for a transfer replacement to Michael Olise.

The 22-year-old has caught the eye since moving to Selhurst Park, with performances that have led to plenty of transfer interest.

So much so, it appears as though his time at the club is up as reports claim that Olise is set to leave Crystal Palace for Bayern Munich this summer.

Palace are expected to land £55million for Olise in the transfer window, giving them some spending power at least.

Some of that may be used on rejuvenating the squad available to Oliver Glasner, as the Crystal Palace boss looks to improve on last season’s tenth-placed finish.

However, some of that money will also be used to find a replacement for Olise, with several names linked.

Antonio Nusa has been on star linked with Crystal Palace, while former Sheffield United forward Iliman Ndiaye has also been on the radar.

While the former is still up for grabs, it appears as though the latter is set for a move to some Premier League rivals.

Iliman Ndiaye set for Everton transfer over Crystal Palace

While Ndiaye had been linked with a move to Crystal Palace, it seems as though his switch back to the Premier League will come elsewhere.

That’s because, according to Fabrizio Romano, Everton are the team that will sign the 24-year-old forward this summer.

Ndiaye is set to join the Toffees from Olympique Marseille in a deal worth up to £17million, while terms have already been agreed on a contract.

It rules out the former Sheffield United star joining up with Glasner for next season, with the hunt for an Olise replacement likely to turn elsewhere.

Michael Olise transfer replacement options

While Ndiaye appears to be off the market now, there are still a host of other options Crystal Palace could sign as a replacement for Olise.

Nusa has been heavily linked in recent days, with the 19-year-old Club Brugge talent catching the eye of Chelsea, Tottenham and Brentford in the past year.

There’s also a chance to dip into the Championship to pick up some talent that can be polished into the stars of tomorrow.

Crysencio Summerville, Jaden Philogene and Jonathan Rowe are just a few names that could add a spark to the flanks.

It remains to be seen which player will have the responsibility of filling the boots left by Olise.
